Our mission

Our mission is to establish a self-sustaining human settlement on Mars and to create a society that fosters innovation, exploration, and sustainability. We believe that human expansion beyond Earth is essential for our long-term survival as a species and that the development of a Martian Society is a key step towards making humans a multiplanetary species.

Our approach is driven by technology, ideas, and human potential. We aim to foster a community that values every member’s contribution in building a better world beyond Earth, embracing independence, self-sufficiency, and collaboration. We are dedicated to utilizing cutting-edge technologies, scientific innovations, and sustainable practices to ensure the lasting success and well-being of our settlers and the Martian Society.

The four pillars of the society

Governance

Developing democratic and participatory governance models, as well as establishing strong legal and regulatory frameworks to protect the rights and interests of the colonists.

Engineering

Designing, manufacturing, and implementing the systems and technologies that would be used on the Red Planet to produce habitable shelters, air, food, water, and fuel, and any other technological systems needed for the survival and expansion of the colony.

Economy

Building strong economic models and principles for the advancement of the Martian Society on Mars and throughout the Solar System.

Culture

Exploring the idea of colonists having the freedom to experiment and innovate, and to develop their own values and norms without the influences and constraints of the wider human community.
